A Year in Review
Our achievements are numerous: in our capacity as the National Trust for Canada at the centre of the heritage movement, we provided the perfect milestone to examine the state of play in heritage conservation in Canada at our National Heritage Summit in Montreal, Que.; extended our capacity to make a difference "on the ground" by increasing our focus on building corporate and philanthropic support; supported regeneration projects with financial assistance; published online Heritage Day materials celebrating "Heritage Homes and Neighbourhoods"; conferred a number of awards on impressive recipients; enhanced our social media platform; released our Top Ten Endangered Places and Worst Losses lists, bringing Canada-wide attention to those sites needlessly lost; published our quarterly Hēritage magazine featuring top stories, reports and commentaries on the key issues facing historic buildings and places; and more.
